Where human clarity meets intelligent systems...
In this episode of the WonderVoice podcast, Rachel is joined by embodiment coach and author Tara Sadeghian to discuss a struggle every high-achiever knows too well: the guilt of slowing down. They dive into why our bodies often mistake "hustle and chaos" for safety, and how that internal pressure leads directly to burnout.
Tara shares her powerful shift from living by a "to-do" list to creating a "to-be" list, offering practical ways to reconnect with your body and lead with true presence. If youāve ever felt like you canāt relax without feeling restless, this conversation is the "permission slip" youāve been looking for.
12/03/2026 - International Women's Day Lunch

Our IWD experience at Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney reminded us that when you are truly present, magic unfolds naturally. Itās the small, unscripted moments that make an experience meaningfulālike using a fork as a microphone stand when ours disappeared, or the "lucky corner" guests discovered after Jane Langofās Feng Shui insights.
A beautiful highlight was Shona Faure winning the Motherās Day prize and immediately choosing to share it with her mumāa perfect moment of shared connection.
At Wonderlab, we believe wellness and growth happen best when we create space for presence and shared learning. Thank you to everyone who brought their energy into the room. Letās continue creating more good days together.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to your April Wonderlab Health Tip! (ā§Ļā§)
Have you ever noticed that your brain feels a bit... "mushy" after a day of leaning on AI to solve every problem? It isnāt just in your head. (ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼) When we instantly hand over our creative or strategic heavy lifting to a machine, we skip the "productive struggle" that keeps our neurons firing. This "Cognitive Autopilot" means the high-level, strategic parts of your mind are effectively going to sleep while you work, leaving you feeling oddly empty even when your to-do list is finished. ( ̄Ļ ̄)..zzZ
These invisible "mental stalls" are the secret drivers behind that midday decision fatigue and the nagging feeling that youāve lost your creative spark to a chatbot. (⬠Ćļ¹Ć)
The Tip: The 5-Minute Human Buffer
To keep your edge, give your brain a "head start" before you call for backup. The next time you have a complex task, set a timer and work on it for five minutes using only your own thoughtsāno Google, no AI. (ą¹ā¢Ģć
ā¢Ģ)Łā§ Think of this as a warm-up for your mental muscles; it re-engages your brain and ensures you stay the "Director" of the technology, rather than just its passenger. Youāll find you feel more ownership over your day and significantly less "tech-tired." (āÆā§ā½ā§)āÆ

If that "Cognitive Autopilot" we mentioned earlier has left you feeling a bit fried, itās time to give your nervous system a physical reset. Constant digital demand and high-performance "busyness" often manifest as physical tension we don't even notice until it becomes a persistent headache or a restless night.
Our dÅTERRA Headache Relief Therapy is a specially formulated treatment designed to help your body find its rhythm again using trigger point therapy and pure essential oils:
Release the Pressure: We target overly tight head, neck, and shoulder muscles to release the physical grip of stress and provide immediate relief from tension headaches.
Quiet the Noise: This treatment is specifically designed for those struggling with poor sleep quality and the mental "fuzziness" that comes with long-term digital strain.
Deep Nervous System Reset: By inducing a state of total relaxation, we help your body shift out of "hustle mode" and into a state of recovery, reducing the oxidative stress that leaves you feeling drained.
Don't let the burnout settle in. Give your mind and body the space they need to breathe.
WonderLab Insight:
Weāre all "A+ students" at keeping promises to everyone else. The 9 AM meeting? Youāre there. Your bestieās secret? Locked away. But what about the promises you made to the person in the mirror?
Usually, when we break a promise to ourselves, it doesnāt come with a loud "BEEP." Itās just this weird, subtle feeling that something is... off. Like youāre wearing your shoes on the wrong feet but youāre too busy running to notice.
The Great Uni Romance HeistĀ
Once upon a time, I heard a legend about a young lad in high school. This guy was like the "Straw Hat" protagonist, but instead of shouting "I will become King of the Pirates!", his battle cry was: "I WILL FIND A GIRLFRIEND!!!!" (ļ½ēæĀ“)9
He told everyone. His friends, his teachers, the guy at the bus stopāit didn't matter. It was his ultimate ninja way. "Once I hit university," heād say, "finding a girlfriend is priority #1! (ą¹Ėį“Ė)ļ»
But then... the "Dark Forest" of adulthood appeared. (ļ¼ļæ£Ļ ̄)
Once he actually got to uni, he started hearing these boring, "grown-up" voices: "Wait! You need to be rich first! You need a 4.0 GPA! Success is the only way girls will like you!" He internalized all that societal pressure. For three whole years, he suppressed every crush and ignored every spark, telling himself the "timing wasn't right."Ā
By his final year, disaster struck. Not a monster, but a massive, unbearable weight crushing his chest. (⬠Ćļ¹Ć) He realized heād been ghosting that loud-mouthed high school kid who just wanted a date. He had betrayed his own innocent promise!
So, he went into Ultimate Awakening Mode. (āÆā§ā½ā§)⯠He downloaded three dating apps in a single night and started swiping like crazy!Ā
The result? He found a girlfriend within a month. But, well... they broke up after three days. ( ̄ā½ļæ£*)ć BUT HE DID IT! The heart-crush vanished because he finally tried and stood up for his own promise.Ā
Whatās Your "9 AM" Promise?
Your promises don't have to be "Change the World" big. They can be tiny expectations youāve swept under the rug:
-Maybe itās "Iāll actually eat a lunch I enjoy today."
-Maybe itās "Iāll wake up at 9 AM."
-Or maybe the promise is: "Iām going to stop bullying myself for not being a morning person."
These promises are your "true love." Don't let them get swiped away by the daily grind!
So, have you been neglecting your own "true love" promises? Take a second, look at that list in your head, and just gogogogo! >0<
