April Recap The Burnout Conversation Lunch , 17 AprilIn April, we gathered founders, leaders, and practitioners for a candid lunch on burnout, AI, and what sustainable support actually looks like in real life.
Together, we unpacked what an AI agent is, why clarity has to come before tools, and how different everyone’s comfort level with AI still is. One thing was clear: the goal is not to add more noise, but to build support that fits your actual capacity. |

Simple Health Tip Understanding the Three Stages of Menopause 𓆸
Here’s the gentle refresher: there are three stages, and knowing which one you’re in can make symptoms feel a lot less mysterious. (´。• ᵕ •。`) Perimenopause is the rollercoaster transition period before your final period, when hormones start changing and symptoms can feel random, intense, or just plain rude. ╮(︶▽︶)╭ Menopause is the official milestone: 12 consecutive months without a period. It’s not a mood, not a vibe, not a guess , it’s a clinical marker. Post-menopause is the long-term phase after that, where the focus shifts to bone density, heart health, sleep, vaginal health, and supporting your body well for the decades ahead. ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑) If this season feels unfamiliar, you’re not behind and you’re not alone. You may just need better language, better support, and a plan that fits your actual life. |

Month of Reflection On Boredom, Excitement, and the Courage to Be StillWe often think boredom is a bad thing , a sign that something is missing, that we are falling behind, or that life is not exciting enough. But Bertrand Russell once suggested the opposite: that a certain amount of boredom is not only tolerable, but quietly good for us. On the other side of not-much-happening, we often find a deeper kind of creativity, calm, and clarity. In a world that rewards urgency, noise, and constant motion, boredom can feel like failure, yet perhaps it is simply space we have forgotten how to trust. (˘◡˘) But perhaps boredom is not empty at all. Perhaps it is a threshold. The pause between one thought and the next. The gentle space where your nervous system stops bracing and starts breathing again. The moment when you realise how tired you have been, how much you have been carrying, and how rarely you let yourself sit still long enough to notice. For many of us, excitement gets to wear the glamorous outfit, while stillness arrives quietly and asks for trust. This month, we have been reflecting on that tension between excitement and stillness: the big ideas we want to launch, the meaningful work we want to do, the life we want to build, and the quieter inner life that makes all of it sustainable. There is a kind of wisdom that only visits when nothing spectacular is happening. A slow walk without a podcast. A lunch with no screen nearby. Ten minutes looking out the window instead of into another tab. These are not dramatic acts, but they can be deeply restorative. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ So this month, perhaps the invitation is not to chase more stimulation, but to make room for a different kind of richness. To trust that not every meaningful season feels exciting while you are in it. To believe that stillness is not the opposite of growth, but often the ground it grows from. And to remember that sometimes the most radical thing you can do for your mind, your body, and your work is to leave a little space unfilled. |
